Etoffe is an advisory service that reviews the claims on product pages. This page explains what personal data we hold, where it came from, and how to make us stop. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

To be removed: reply to any email from us with the word “delete”, or write to support@nxtwaves.in. We erase what we hold about you and never contact you again. You do not have to give a reason, and we will not ask for one.

If we emailed you and you never asked us to

We read publicly published pages on your company's website — product descriptions, ingredient lists, marketing copy — and recorded the claims they make. We then used a business contact address published on that same site.

We did not buy your details, scrape private data, or use anything a visitor to your site could not see. Every claim we quote back to you is named and traceable to the page it came from.

Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: showing a business what its own published pages say, once, so it can decide whether it wants help with them. We think that is a fair thing to send an unsolicited email about. If you disagree, the paragraph above ends it immediately.

What we actually hold

We do not hold customer data, order data, payment details, or anything from behind a login. We have no interest in it and never ask for it.

How long we keep it

Until you tell us to stop, or until it stops being useful — whichever comes first. If you ask us to stop, we keep only your address on a suppression list, because that is the only way to guarantee we never contact you again by accident. That single record is kept indefinitely and used for nothing else.

Who else sees it

Nobody. We do not sell, rent or share contact data. Our email is sent through a standard email provider and our site is hosted by Vercel; neither receives your data for their own purposes.

Our claim analysis uses Google's Gemini API. The text sent to it is the published copy from your website — never personal data, never your contact details.

This site sets no cookies

There is no analytics, no tracking pixel, no advertising tag and no cookie banner, because there is nothing to consent to. If you are reading this page, we do not know you are.

Your rights

Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. You can also object to direct marketing at any time, and that objection is absolute — we have to comply, with no balancing test and no argument.

Ask at support@nxtwaves.in. We answer within a few days, usually the same one.

If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, or to your own national supervisory authority in the EU. We would rather you told us first, but you are not obliged to.

Who we are

Etoffe is operated from India by its founder as a sole proprietorship, and provides advisory services to businesses internationally. For any data protection question, including a request for our postal address, write to support@nxtwaves.in and we will respond.

Changes

If this page changes materially we update the date at the top. We do not quietly rewrite it.
